Thank you for your interest in summer outdoor ministry employment opportunities at Highland Retreat.  Working with children and other staff at Highland is an awesome experience.  Many lifetime memories and friendships are formed at camp.

Highland Summer Staff are expected to:

Ë Have a personal commitment to and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Ë Be committed to demonstrating your commitment to Jesus Christ in word and deed.

Ë Conduct yourself in a manner that is above reproach by not using tobacco, alcohol, illicit drugs, vulgar language.

Ë Be open to learning and upholding all camp policies and guidelines.

Ë Be emotionally and socially mature enough to relate to and cooperate with others in the camp community.

Ë Possess the integrity to faithfully fulfill the commitment of service agreed upon in a positive manner.

Ë Be flexible enough to assist with other responsibilities.
 
A criminal history and sex offender background check will be completed on all staff members.

Staff members must be available to attend orientation beginning early June for counseling staff and mid June for all other staff.
